Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Conduct scenario planning for AI governance, quantum adoption, and climate-tech integration
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions using emerging platforms
- Author strategic briefs for C-suite on technological disruption risks and opportunities
- Build external partnerships with academic labs and innovation accelerators
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven experience developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Certification in Futures Studies, Foresight, or equivalent preferred
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Futures Studies
