Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech) and forecast their commercial impact by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for future product/service launches aligned with 5-year market projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and drive decision-making frameworks
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for breakthrough innovation
- Author thought leadership content and represent the company at global futurist forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum computing, or climate modeling
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities with tools like Gartner Hype Cycle
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist research or strategic innovation projects
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
