Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future-focused solutions
- Present compelling future scenarios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and social trends affecting technological adoption
- Champion organizational culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, technology foresight, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services (3+ case studies)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with futures methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, backcasting)
- Strong data analytics background with proficiency in trend analysis tools
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or relevant field
