Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate resilience) to forecast 2026 market disruptions
- Design and lead strategic innovation initiatives with $5M+ budgets across 3+ industry verticals
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Present executive briefings to Fortune 500 leadership on emerging opportunities and risks
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic pioneers
- Lead the creation of Horizon Dynamics' 2026 Technology & Human Impact Index
- Mentor internal 'Future Accelerators' program to cultivate next-gen talent
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or Silicon Valley unicorns
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services post-2020
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Published thought leadership on future scenarios (white papers, TED talks, or industry journals)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi methods, scenario planning)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into actionable business strategy
