Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic foresight framework for emerging technologies (2026-2031)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive trends in AI, biotech, and space exploration
- Produce annual innovation whitepapers and trend reports for executive stakeholders
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions using emerging tech stacks
- Represent the company at global tech summits and futurist conferences
- Build and manage a network of academic, industry, and government innovation partners
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on emerging tech trends (peer-reviewed journals or industry reports)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized innovations
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
