Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional teams (AI, Biotech, Quantum Computing) to prototype and validate future-forward solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging trends, patent landscapes, and geopolitical shifts affecting technological adoption
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and venture capital firms
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and Board of Directors with data-driven recommendations
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks ensuring responsible development of transformative technologies
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field with 8+ years of strategic innovation experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, Quantum, AR/VR, or Biotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technological ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience leading global innovation teams across multiple time zones and cultural contexts
