Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year strategic foresight framework for emerging technologies
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports for industry leadership
- Build and manage a global network of futurist thought partners
- Drive ethics and governance protocols for disruptive technologies
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating tech trends into business value
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech innovation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
