- Conduct horizon scanning across 15+ industries to detect exponential technology convergence points
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members with data-backed future projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer breakthrough solutions
- Mentor cross-functional teams in adaptive thinking methodologies for volatile futures
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic discipline
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology roadmapping
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios implemented in enterprise environments
- Expertise in exponential technology trends (AI, biotech, nanotech, climate tech)
- Proficiency in futures research tools (Delphi method, causal layered analysis, horizon scanning)
- Track record of scaling innovation initiatives from concept to market leadership
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into executable strategies
