Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 10-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging tech adoption
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders to map future industry disruptions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge research
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 technological and societal trends
- Design innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in our FutureTech Lab
- Mentor cross-functional teams on futurist methodologies and trend analysis
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors quarterly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of influencing enterprise-level tech transformation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Research Methodology (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenario analyses
- Experience with horizon scanning and Delphi methodology
