Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify 2026+ disruptive technologies across AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Develop 10-year innovation roadmaps aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals and market disruption vectors
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers and scientists in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling future-state narratives
- Patent and commercialize 3+ breakthrough technologies annually
- Mentor emerging futurists through our Future Leaders incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology R&D
- Published research in Nature/Science on exponential technologies or future studies
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (minimum 3 unicorn exits)
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology forecasting, and disruption analysis frameworks
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Fluency in AI/ML toolkits (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and biotech simulation platforms
- Executive presence with experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on 2030+ strategy
