Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead scenario planning workshops for emerging tech disruptions (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Produce annual 'Horizon Reports' analyzing socioeconomic implications of future trends
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Advise C-suite on strategic pivots based on future consumer behavior shifts
- Establish innovation metrics for measuring 2026 readiness across departments
- Curate external futurist networks and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or innovation management with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record in technology forecasting and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in scenario planning or foresight methodologies
