Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology foresight frameworks using predictive analytics and trend synthesis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map quantum computing applications to industry verticals
- Develop patent-pending methodologies for ethical AI governance in autonomous systems
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-proofing principles into corporate strategy
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Briefs' on metamaterials and climate tech breakthroughs
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio for near-future commercialization
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent strategic discipline
- 5+ years in technology foresight at Fortune 500 or top-tier research institutions
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or similar peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Proficiency in Python for trend modeling and data visualization
- Proven track record of launching at least two future-tech initiatives
- Certification in Advanced Innovation Management from MIT Sloan
