- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state strategies
- Produce trend reports and whitepapers published in top industry publications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for 2030 market needs
- Advocate ethical innovation principles in high-stakes decision-making
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic consulting or corporate innovation with 2020+ trend analysis experience
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused strategies in Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systemic modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurism or adjacent fields
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from futurists.org) strongly preferred
