Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends and geopolitical factors to forecast 2026-2030 industry disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for clients in autonomous systems, biotech, and space exploration
- Lead workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation strategies with future market opportunities
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on quantum computing applications and AI governance
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen interfaces for human-machine symbiosis
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and ethical tech assessment
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight or technology consulting
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published research on quantum computing, AI alignment, or climate tech adaptation
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience presenting to executive audiences in Fortune 500 companies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
