- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead strategic workshops with R&D teams to prototype future-proof products and services
- Produce executive-level foresight reports with data-driven market impact assessments
- Establish partnerships with futurist institutes and academic research centers
- Design organizational resilience strategies for technological singularity preparedness
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and adaptive innovation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or technology roadmaps
- Expertise in trend analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into business strategy
