- Conduct horizon-scanning for emerging tech disruptions (biotech, nanotech, AR/VR)
- Present findings to C-suite and board with compelling data visualizations
- Partner with R&D to commercialize 2026-ready innovations
- Author quarterly 'Future State' briefings for investors and partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or futures research
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting methodologies
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- PhD or equivalent in Systems Engineering, Futurology, or Physics
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (STEEP, Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Experience scaling ventures from concept to $100M+ valuation
- Portfolio of 2026+ technology blueprints or patents
