You'll develop comprehensive frameworks for technology adoption, risk mitigation, and competitive advantage in sectors ranging from AI ethics to sustainable infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal trends impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop predictive models and scenario-planning frameworks for 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Architect innovation ecosystems connecting Fortune 500 clients with next-gen startups and research institutions
- Produce executive briefings and trend reports quantifying market impacts of emerging technologies
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align organizational capabilities with future requirements
- Advolve in patent strategy and intellectual property development for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organizational culture of anticipatory leadership
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 7+ years experience in technology strategy, corporate foresight, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario-planning capabilities using tools like Foresight Platform
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (journal articles, books, keynotes)
- Fluency in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems modeling
