Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 strategic foresight reports on AI, biotech, and climate tech convergence
- Lead innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners to co-create 2026 product roadmaps
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) for competitive advantage
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and socioeconomic disruptions
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Present strategic briefings to the board and external stakeholders
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers using proprietary foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published work on 2026+ technology scenarios in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (Gartner, Forrester, or similar)
- Proven track record of disrupting markets through strategic foresight
- Certification in Systems Dynamics, Scenario Planning, or Design Futures
- Deep network with global futurist communities (WFSF, APF, etc.)
- Fluency in foresight tools (STEEP, Delphi, Causal Layered Analysis)
