Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast technological, economic, and social trends impacting the 2026+ horizon
- Develop strategic scenarios and roadmaps for emerging market disruptions
- Partner with R&D and executive leadership to integrate future insights into product development
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives using data analytics and expert networks
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders with compelling narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and industry thought leaders
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and their implications on business strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Futures Studies, Technology, Economics, or related field; Master's preferred
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to synthesize complex concepts
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
