Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal trends through 2026+ using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating breakthrough technologies into enterprise ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market landscapes
- Present foresight frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to capture frontier innovations
- Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic signals to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Mentor junior futurists while cultivating a culture of intellectual curiosity across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: AGI, synthetic biology, quantum applications, or neurotech
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking experience
- Portfolio showcasing published research on 2020-2030 technology impact assessments
