Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for future-focused R&D
- Author thought leadership content on emerging tech impacts across industries
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and tech foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record developing 5+ year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM preferred)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio of published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
