Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid systems and next-gen biotech interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (nanotech, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Deliver executive briefings to C-suite stakeholders on disruptive market shifts
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and acquire pre-seed startups
- Author white papers on future-proofing strategies for global industry forums
- Mentor junior futurists in ethical tech deployment and sustainable innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (3+ case studies required)
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, AGI safety, or synthetic biology
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from APF or WFS)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on exponential technology adoption
- Portfolio of published futurist frameworks or thought leadership
