Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for 2026+ emerging fields
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biotech interfaces)
- Forecast industry disruptors and competitive threats through data-driven analysis
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT, NASA, and global innovation labs
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
- Drive patent development for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or Quantum Computing
- 10+ years in strategic tech innovation with Fortune 500/Unicorn companies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $100M+ market impact
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R preferred)
