Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 technology vision roadmap, identifying paradigm-shifting innovations in AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Lead cross-functional teams to incubate and scale moonshot projects with $50M+ innovation budgets
- Establish strategic partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Caltech, CERN) and Fortune 100 enterprises
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption scenarios
- Present future-tech frameworks to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Champion ethical AI development and responsible innovation frameworks across global operations
- Mentor next-generation futurists through Horizon's 'Vision 2026' fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Technology Forecasting, Systems Innovation, or Future Studies with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and commercializing emerging technologies (3+ major disruptions)
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI development paradigms
- Published thought leadership in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent tier-1 publications
- Experience securing $100M+ in R&D funding or venture capital for future-tech initiatives
- Fluency in scenario planning frameworks (STEEP, Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Ability to communicate complex future-tech concepts to non-technical stakeholders
