Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological convergence through 2035
- Architect quantum-AI hybrid systems for next-gen autonomous infrastructure
- Direct cross-functional R&D teams developing ethical AI frameworks
- Secure $50M+ in innovation grants from NSF, DARPA, and private consortia
- Pioneer closed-loop sustainability models for space colonization tech
- Author white papers on human augmentation policy and governance
- Mentor fellows in exponential technology adoption methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Systems Engineering
- 10+ years leading R&D in exponential technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Published research in Nature/Science on future-oriented tech paradigms
- Proven track record of scaling moonshot projects from concept to deployment
- Expertise in ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Active clearance with US DoD or equivalent national security programs
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, Haskell)
