You'll work in our state-of-the-art Austin hub, collaborating with Nobel laureates, AI pioneers, and design futurists to create products that don't just anticipate needs but create new realities.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement technology roadmaps for 2026+ products using quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and ethicists to develop breakthrough prototypes
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Develop patent portfolios for novel human-machine interaction systems
- Present strategic innovation blueprints to C-suite and venture partners
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech integrations
- Partner with academic institutions to accelerate research commercialization
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or Physics with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record launching at least two commercially successful futuristic technologies
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Deep understanding of technology ethics and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to articulate complex visions
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
