- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with corporate vision
- Secure strategic partnerships and funding for cutting-edge research projects
- Present innovation frameworks and progress to stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs to measure long-term impact and ROI of futuristic initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation management or strategic technology leadership
- Proven track record in developing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Strong background in securing venture capital or government grants
- Certification in Innovation Management or Futures Studies preferred
