Responsibilities
- Architect and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead agile R&D teams in developing next-gen AI, quantum computing, and biotech prototypes
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with long-term business strategy
- Secure $5M+ in annual R&D funding through compelling investor presentations
- Establish strategic alliances with MIT, Stanford, and other future-focused institutions
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business opportunities
- Drive patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy for 2026 product launches
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record scaling R&D budgets from $1M to $10M+
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, or neurotech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Spectrum)
- Experience securing government innovation grants (DARPA, NSF)
- Portfolio of commercialized products with >$100M ARR
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global partnerships
