Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions with enterprise impact
- Forge strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry disruptors
- Drive adoption of emerging tech through internal innovation sprints and thought leadership
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and futurists
- Present innovation strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching products with 10M+ user impact or $100M+ revenue
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Experience with agile innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals or conferences
- Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management skills
