- Lead cross-functional R&D projects targeting 2026 technology horizons
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps integrating quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Secure $5M+ annual funding through strategic partnerships and grant proposals
- Direct patent strategy for emerging technologies with 200+ filings
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Mentor 15+ researchers in agile innovation methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption timelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in tech R&D with 3+ years in strategic innovation leadership
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from prototype to commercialization
- Expertise in quantum computing, generative AI, or climate tech
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and simulation frameworks
- Experience securing DARPA/NSF grants ($1M+ value)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ethical frameworks
