Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term strategic objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing next-gen AI, IoT, and quantum computing prototypes
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling investor pitches and grant applications
- Establish partnerships with top-tier academic institutions and research labs
- Drive patent strategy for core innovations, filing 15+ new IP annually
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers in futuristic design thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation leadership with proven R&D commercialization track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, or biotech
- Strong background in securing VC funding or government grants for deep-tech projects
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience leading teams of 20+ engineers and researchers
- Deep knowledge of patent law and IP strategy in tech innovation
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
