Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps focusing on post-2025 innovations including quantum integration and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging tech opportunities and market disruption points
- Conduct scenario planning for AI governance frameworks and ethical AI deployment strategies
- Partner with product teams to prototype solutions for climate-tech and biotech convergence challenges
- Analyze global tech policy shifts to ensure compliance and strategic positioning
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and technology assessment frameworks
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in innovation consulting or corporate R&D with focus on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in tech ethics or digital transformation
- Proficiency in futures research tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Experience leading cross-continental teams with diverse technical expertise
- Certification in AI governance frameworks (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
