Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of quantum physicists and AI specialists in developing next-gen quantum neural networks
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems for real-world enterprise applications
- Secure $10M+ in federal research grants and industry partnerships
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals with 10+ annual citations
- Develop ethical frameworks for quantum AI deployment across critical infrastructure
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive talent acquisition for quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Machine Learning with 8+ years industry experience
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum algorithms or AI optimization
- Proven track record of securing $5M+ in research funding
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 15+ researchers
- Patents in quantum machine learning or quantum-resistant cryptography
