Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-era computational challenges
- Manage cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and mathematicians
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
- Author 3+ peer-reviewed publications in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum-resistant security protocols for critical infrastructure

- Represent company at global tech summits (WEF, CES 2026)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Track record of securing federal research grants
- Experience leading international R&D teams
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant designs
- Clearance for DoD/NASA collaborative projects preferred
