Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and market shifts impacting 2026
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning workshops to prepare for alternative future outcomes
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Partner with R&D to translate future opportunities into innovation pipelines
- Monitor and evaluate global socio-economic indicators affecting strategic direction
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, industry experts, and academic partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong data visualization skills with experience presenting complex futures concepts
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Experience developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar professional designation preferred
