Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership teams
- Author trend reports and scenario planning documents for organizational decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Identify and analyze disruptive business models in adjacent industries
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, climate tech, or neuro-interfaces
- Proven ability to translate foresight into executable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
