Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive forces and inflection points relevant to 2026-2030
- Develop and publish quarterly strategic foresight briefings for executive leadership
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for high-impact uncertainty domains (AI ethics, climate resilience, quantum adoption)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Establish proprietary forecasting models using predictive analytics and machine learning
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and industry summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning or futurist consulting at Fortune 500 level
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications
