Responsibilities
- Develop and validate 2026+ strategic scenarios using quantitative modeling and qualitative research
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotech, and climate science domains
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports influencing executive decision-making
- Establish Horizon Labs' thought leadership through whitepapers and keynote presentations
- Partner with product teams to incubate 2026-viable innovations
- Maintain proprietary foresight database tracking 200+ emerging signals
- Represent company at global futurist forums and Davos-type summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio examples required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Publication record in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on long-term strategy
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies' societal impacts
