Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 strategic roadmap for renewable energy expansion across 15+ US markets
- Analyze emerging technologies (green hydrogen, advanced storage, AI-grid integration) and assess commercial viability
- Lead scenario planning for regulatory shifts, carbon pricing, and ESG compliance frameworks
- Coordinate with R&D teams to align innovation pipeline with long-term market projections
- Present strategic recommendations to Board of Directors with quantified ROI models
- Maintain competitive intelligence database through partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and IEA
- Drive sustainability KPIs that align with UN SDGs and Paris Agreement targets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Sustainability, Energy Systems, or Strategic Planning (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in renewable energy or cleantech strategy at Fortune 500 or startup level
- Proven track record of developing multi-year roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Expertise in energy policy analysis (IRA, IRA2, state-level incentives)
- Advanced proficiency in scenario modeling tools (e.g., Powersim, AnyLogic)
- Strong network in DOE, NREL, or international energy agencies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- PMP or LEED AP certification required
