Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to forecast industry shifts, regulatory changes, and consumer behavior patterns
- Architect innovation frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics)
- Partner with R&D to translate future insights into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Deliver executive briefings on future scenarios and strategic implications
- Establish global networks of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops with leadership teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of successful long-term strategic implementation (5+ year horizons)
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, metaverse)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar)
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Experience leading cross-cultural global strategy teams
