Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps focusing on AI governance, quantum computing applications, and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and ethics teams
- Anticipate geopolitical and societal impacts of emerging technologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members
- Partner with academic institutions and government labs on future-tech initiatives
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine interfaces
- Identify and mitigate technology risks and disruption vectors
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in emerging technology forecasting and strategic planning
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AI ethics
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology or foresight journals
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Strong proficiency in data visualization and strategic communication
- Certification in Technology Foresight or equivalent (e.g., APF, WFS)
