Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, and climate-positive AI
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with C-suite executives from aerospace, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Produce annual 'Tech Horizon' reports predicting societal disruptions from converging technologies
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and decentralized governance models
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through federal grants and private partnerships
- Mentor PhD fellows in emerging tech policy and responsible innovation practices
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies with 10+ years in emerging tech
- Published research in at least two of: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology, or climate AI
- Track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to market (e.g., prior CTO role)
- Expertise in regulatory landscapes across US, EU, and Asia-Pacific tech ecosystems
- Fluency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis) and technology impact assessment
- Portfolio demonstrating thought leadership at Davos, TED, or equivalent high-impact forums
