Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions using 3D printing and nanotechnology
- Present futuristic visions to executive stakeholders and investors through compelling data visualizations
- Establish cross-industry innovation partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on technology ethics and sustainable innovation
- Manage R&D budget allocation for experimental projects with 5+ year horizons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5-year+ forecasting experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, nanotech)
- Published research or patents in future technology applications
- Exceptional data modeling skills for trend analysis and scenario planning
- Experience presenting complex technological concepts to non-technical audiences
- Portfolio showcasing previous technology foresight projects or innovation roadmaps
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
