Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead R&D initiatives in next-gen computing, clean energy tech, and neural interfaces
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with long-term business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Present technology forecasts and disruption analyses to stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor ecosystem
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future tech adoption pathways
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies to commercial viability
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, sustainable tech, or AI ethics frameworks
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Executive experience in Fortune 500 or unicorn tech companies
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar strategic foresight designation
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
