Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning across emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Author trend reports and scenario analyses for product development teams
- Mentor junior futurists in technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Strategy
- 7+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven experience with technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep knowledge of AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence trends
- Exceptional communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology publications
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
