Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast disruptive technologies through 2026, including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI convergence
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging tech adoption across enterprise operations and product portfolios
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, marketing, and C-suite teams to align on future tech integration
- Produce actionable trend reports and competitive intelligence briefs for executive decision-making
- Identify strategic partnerships and acquisition targets in next-generation technology sectors
- Represent company vision at global tech summits and forward-looking industry forums
- Mentor innovation teams on emerging technology applications and ethical implementation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating technological trends into commercial strategies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience with technology impact assessment frameworks (e.g., Toffler's Future Shock methodology)
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems and tech foresight communities
