Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional labs prototyping 2026-era interfaces and systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging tech paradigms
- Partner with C-suite to align R&D with market evolution
- Present future scenarios to investors and industry consortiums
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI tracking
- Mentor next-gen engineers in exponential thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging tech with 5+ years in strategic planning
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Published research in quantum computing or neural interfaces
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network with DARPA/NASA innovation circles
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Experience leading teams through technological paradigm shifts
