Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostic procedures including EKGs, phlebotomy, and IV administration
- Assist physicians during complex medical procedures and emergency interventions
- Operate and maintain specialized medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, defibrillators)
- Document patient data accurately in electronic health records systems
- Train junior medical staff on clinical protocols and safety procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Technician (CMT) or Advanced EMT certification required
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in acute care settings
- Valid Nebraska state license and BLS/ACLS certifications
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
- Associate's degree in Medical Technology or related field
