You'll collaborate with quantum computing teams, neuro-engineering specialists, and global policy councils to define ethical guardrails for autonomous systems and next-gen digital ecosystems.
Our Austin-based innovation hub offers unparalleled resources to develop prototype ethical AI models and publish industry-defining white papers. This position reports directly to our Chief Futurist and includes speaking opportunities at global tech summits.
Responsibilities
- Design ethical governance frameworks for 2026-era AI systems including autonomous decision engines and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, ethicists, and policymakers to identify emerging tech risks
- Develop predictive impact assessments for quantum computing applications and biometric surveillance technologies
- Create audit protocols for generative AI systems to ensure transparency and accountability
- Author thought leadership papers on the societal implications of metaverse infrastructure and digital twins
- Represent the company at international tech ethics forums and regulatory consultations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field with 5+ years in AI governance
- Proven experience designing ethical frameworks for deployed AI systems (NIST AI RMF certification preferred)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neuromorphic engineering
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders including policymakers
- Published research in AI ethics or future technology impact assessment (IEEE/ACM publications valued)
- Fluency in regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights, global tech governance initiatives)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies for long-term technological forecasting
