Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and predictive analytics
- Lead cross-functional working groups on bias mitigation, transparency, and accountability in AI deployments
- Conduct impact assessments for high-stakes AI applications across healthcare, finance, and infrastructure sectors
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in regulatory discussions and industry coalitions
- Design audit protocols for continuous monitoring of AI system behavior and compliance
- Mentor junior researchers and collaborate with academic institutions on ethics research
- Proactively identify emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and quantum computing integration
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD/Masters) in Ethics, Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, or related field with 5+ years' experience
- Proven expertise in AI governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001)
- Experience conducting bias audits and algorithmic impact assessments for production systems
- Deep understanding of ethical implications in autonomous decision-making systems
- Strong background in policy development and stakeholder engagement across diverse sectors
- Publication record in AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership in responsible AI
- Ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable technical requirements
